Seeking permission

We recently emailed Talha Anjum to request permission to use Heartbreak Kid for our music video project. In the email, we explained our concept, detailing how we plan to visually represent the song’s emotions through a mix of narrative and performance shots. We assured him that the video is non-commercial and that we would give him full credit. Additionally, we asked if he had any specific guidelines or restrictions for the project. Now, we’re just waiting for his response and hoping for his approval so we can move forward smoothly.

Logo

After careful consideration and multiple revisions, we have finally chosen our official logo. The selection process involved evaluating different design concepts to ensure the logo truly represents our vision and identity. We focused on simplicity, creativity, and meaningful symbolism to make it visually striking and memorable. With input from our team, we finalized a design that perfectly captures our project's essence. This logo will now serve as our brand’s identity, reflecting our commitment and creativity in everything we do.

making logo for production company

For our logo-making process, we focused on creating a design that truly represents our vision and identity. We started by brainstorming ideas, considering elements that reflect our project’s theme and purpose. After sketching out different concepts, we refined our choices, ensuring the logo was visually appealing, modern, and meaningful. changes for final cut

Here are the key changes we made for the final cut:

Refined Clip Selection – Removed unnecessary or weaker shots and replaced them with stronger alternatives.

Improved Transitions – Added smoother cuts and creative transitions for a more polished flow.

Enhanced Color Grading – Adjusted the blue lighting in the room scene and balanced colors for consistency.

Better Syncing with Music – Aligned key visuals more precisely with the beat and lyrics.

Stabilized Footage – Fixed shaky shots, especially in the jungle scenes, for a cleaner look.

Added Visual Effects – Included subtle effects to enhance the mood and storytelling.

Refined Narrative Flow – Adjusted scene order to make the story clearer and more impactful.

Audio Adjustments – Cleaned up background noise and balanced audio levels for better immersion.

These changes helped us create a more engaging and professional final cut.

troubles faced while shooting

During the shoot, we faced several challenges that tested our patience and problem-solving skills. One of the biggest issues was managing the lighting, especially in the closed room scene where getting the perfect blue hue took multiple adjustments. In the jungle location, unpredictable weather made it difficult to maintain consistency between shots. We also encountered technical difficulties, like camera stabilization problems and audio interference, which forced us to reshoot certain scenes. Coordinating with the team was another hurdle, as syncing everyone's availability and ensuring smooth transitions between locations took more time than expected. Despite these struggles, we pushed through, adapting to each situation and making the best of what we had to bring our vision to life.

dumping and adding clips

We started our editing process by dumping all the raw footage into the software, organizing it into different folders based on scenes and shots. After reviewing the clips, we filtered out unnecessary takes and selected the best ones. Once everything was sorted, we moved on to the free first cut, where we placed the clips on the timeline in a rough sequence. At this stage, we didn’t focus on transitions or effects but instead worked on structuring the video, ensuring smooth pacing, and syncing key moments with the beat of the song.

first cut

The first cut of the music video was a major step forward. After hours of effort, the initial version finally came together, capturing the heart of the story. The energy was there, the emotions were raw, but there were still rough edges—some transitions felt abrupt, certain shots didn’t quite fit, and the pacing needed adjustment. Watching it back, everyone took a moment to analyze what worked and what could be improved. Ideas flowed, discussions sparked, and the vision became clearer. It wasn’t perfect yet, but it was the foundation of something incredible, just waiting to be polished into its final form.
